Careers · Founding Engineers
We're a team of industry veterans who have redefined business intelligence, relational engines, and data platforms — now on a mission to give every business team an analyst they can trust. Come build it with us.
What we're building
Spotonix is the agentic analyst for business teams. It learns the business from what a customer already has — warehouse schema, semantic models, approved query history, and BI assets — and builds a per-customer Context Graph. It composes a plan you can read before any SQL runs, resolving ambiguity through a clarifying question instead of a guess. And it compounds — every accepted answer becomes reusable, so the next question is faster and more trustworthy.
Unlike text-to-SQL, the LLM never writes the final answer. It proposes a plan; the system verifies, constrains, and compiles it — so the same accepted plan produces the same query, every time, even as the data changes. That determinism is the hard, durable engineering we're hiring for.
Who we're looking for
We're at an exciting, early stage and hiring two founding engineering roles. Deep expertise in one is what we're after — bring it, and we'll teach you the rest.
01
You build query engines: relational algebra, query planning and optimization, MDX/OLAP, and execution across warehouses. You make verified plans compile to SQL that's correct every time. Background in a DB engine, MDX/BI engine, or query optimizer is ideal.
02
You build the Context Graph: ingesting warehouse schema, semantic models, approved query history, and BI assets into the layer the system reasons over. Background in a data catalog, metadata platform, or ETL / knowledge-graph system shines here.
